The mission of Women's Ministries at FCC is to glorify God by winning women to Christ, strengthening women in their faith and equipping women to impact their peers for Christ.

Current Bible Studies

Beginning January 16th and January 18th
When it is: Mondays 6:30pm-8:30pm OR Wednesdays 9:00am-11:00am    8 weeks
Where it is: Faith Community Church in the Northwest Classrooms
What it is: If you're stuck in an invisible struggle of heart or mind, this 8-session DVD study will help you get unstuck. Author Jennie Allen provides a safe place to take a deep look inside yourself, expose it, deal with it, and find the freedom God intended for you. The study is intended to lead women to consider the truth and how it applies to their lives by using story-driven teaching, Scripture Study, and interactive projects.THIS BIBLE STUDY IS FOR YOU!!!

OPPORTUNITIES

Captain Ministry: If you enjoy having a leadership role please sign up to be a Captain for Women's Ministry at Faith. You will have 10-15 women that you will personally stay connected with and encourage to get involved in times of fellowship, prayer and Bible study.

WOW (Women of Wisdom): This is a ministry that will serve women 55 and up. This includes times of fellowship, outings, luncheons, Bible studies and caring and sharing.

Women of Matthew 10:42: Our vision is to encourage the missionaries that are supported by Faith Church, provide for the Freeport Pregnancy Center and Rockford Rescue Mission. This group meets the first Saturday of the month behind the sanctuary at 9:30am for coffee and fellowship and 10:00am meeting.

Hearts and Hands: The purpose of this group is to communicate God's love and care as we extend hospitality and service to our church body and the community. Hands and Hearts Ministry touches lives in a very tangible way. Its impact is important, not only because of the people whose lives are affected, but also because of the opportunity it gives for God's people to use their gifts and talents.

Faith Cottage: The Cottage is our Women's Ministry headquarters and is located near the church. Throughout the year we will host small events for women. Please call Linda and then stop by the cottage to see how God has blessed the women of Faith with this lovely space of their own.
